This Was Last weeks reading work.This is about a story of a king and his fire gems were stolen from someone in the castle,they investigate who stole it and find out who the person was.On this presentation it was like a comprehension about the story I really love doing it it fun. I Got Your Back!!!

Making Kindness go viral by "Soo Tauau" which means I got your back. Heres three special ways to demostraght what I mean.

• How I help someone like if your friend has prblem then you could help them. 
• Do something nice for someone, by them flowers,chocolate sothing,like that
• Help homeless people of you see them like give them some coins you have.
• Last of all Say Something nice to people. 

This was part of my AL7 work we had to list something you can do to make kindness go viral.

Immersion Assembly

Walt:Write a recount about term 2 immersion assembly.

This Morning Pt England school gathered in the hall for an Immersion assembly. We started off with Mrs Nua introducing us to this terms topic, As I see it

Team 1 is learning about Favourite thing,

Team 2 is learning about seasons

Team 3 is learning about grand designs and architecture

Team 4 is learning about comic and how they can create their own.

Team 5 is learning about waka arts.

Team 5's Item was the best because it was so funny. Our team item began with Miss Clark grabbing the mic saying welcome today we're going to be doing a competition. The contestants were the teachers who are Mrs Tele'a (blue),Miss Berry(red),Miss Garden(green) and Miss sadler(yellow). They were acting as our house names and colors, there was blue,yellow,red,green and Our house names are Hokule'a(green),Hine Moana(Blue),Te Aurere(Red),Hikianalia(Yellow). So there competition was a waka race because we named our houses after waka's.The contestant were preparing then they were pretending that they were in there own waka then miss clark said "alright everyone to this and GO!!!", Off they raced to the finished. When the race started Hine Moana was so competitive that she was in the lead then Hokule'a races past her. At the back Te Aurere was side by side with Hikianalia and they we hitting each other. Both Hokule'a and Hine Moana was racing then Hokulea touches the flag and she Wins!!. But I can describe them being aggressive.

My favourite Item was team 4 because they were like superheroes but instead of calling themselves avengers they were the Teacher Vengers. They had made a movie about 5 teachers stopping the bad guy bear Baxendine. Mr Somerville as the team leader (America),Mr Goodwin (Bat Guy), Miss Lavakula (Wondering Woman),Mrs Moala and Miss West (Amateur Hero’s). So it starts off with Bear Baxendine trying to steal chromebooks, then the Amateur Hero’s are watching him but he doesn't know. Bear Baxendine gets out a chromebook who is Bobby Johns then the Amateur Heros make their move to stop him then The Bear takes them out and tie their hands with rope and Bear Baxendine says “No one can stop me”. After that then the Teacher Vengers arrive and take bear and save the Amateur hero’s and The Teacher Venger’s save the day once again.

Immersion assembly was Awesome. My favourite item was team 5 because Mrs Tele’a was so funny. I look forward to doing more great things this term and learn more this term.

AIM:Aspiration,Inspiration,Motivation

WALT: Express our thoughts and opinions

This morning the 11th of April, We had Andrew Patterson and two other people and they were Arizona and Kenese, who came and talk to us about leadership.This was held place the year 7/8 street which is what we call our intermediate.

Arizona introduced herself with her full name,She talked about family and that her parents work at sacred heart school.Arizona has two brothers One at the age of 19 and the other at the age of 11..Something really cool about her was she got experience what it was like to work at disneyland and She was head girl at Epsom Girls. One other Memory of hers was she got to perform at Polyfest. Her culture is Samoan,Tongan,Maori,Fijian.Arizona’s motivation is her great grandmother because she is 102 year old. Arizona got to set goal and she accomplished it by three steps, Work Hard,Dream Big,Share Happiness.

Kenese Introduced himself by starting off by him culture Niuean and samoan, He talked about how he was raised and how he grew up.Kenese went to Wesley Primary near Mt Roskill. He grew up without a father so  he didn't know what it felt like and He was born in samoa and then his mum decided to come to New Zealand because of his Education. Kenese Talked about him getting raised around Violence,drinking,smoking and gang members. He mention if we see someone cool then we should not be like them we should be ourselves.Kenese’s motivation was his mother because she had to sacrifice some things in order for him to get an education.  

What I learned from Arizona is never hold back but is to shoot for the star.Arizona Inspired me,encouraged me to follow my dreams. Arizona study hard to get to where is was right now, she is like the leader in her family. From what Arizona said she had inspired me to be more confident when I speak, she motivated me to work hard but most of all she taught me that education is the most important thing. When Arizona was talking she was talking about confident she has just inspired to never be shy all the time and just to let it out.

From Kenese’s story I have learnt that If I see someone cool I shouldn’t try to be like them I should just be myself. Kenese Inspired me to Make right decisions and don’t go down the wrong path. Kenese has grew up trying to be someone he wasnt Example:If you see someone cool don’t try to be like them just be yourself. He has inspired me to make the right decision and just to be myself normal. When he was talking he said” When I talk about my mum it makes me emotional”. He has mention that he loves his mum and that is his motivation as I said before because she has sacrificed things for him to get an education.

That talk was long but it was important to us kids so we can make the right decisions so that when we get older we can reflect back on that and we could pass it on to other children's and so they don’t turn out trying to be cool and trying to be a gang person.

Everyone should wake up motivated to get up because they should appreciate their parents because they sacrificed things for us and if it wasn't for their parents then they wouldn’t be here. feel like this talk has motivated us children to be confident when we speak and we should use these three steps Arizona has taught us Work Hard,Dream Big and Share Happiness.

This week we had Andrew patterson and two other people Arizona and Kenese, They came to us about leadership. I really enjoy it because it taught us kids to choose the right decisions when we grow up. Thanks to Andrew PAtterson and Arizona and Kenese.  

Fiafia Coming Up!!

Its Fiafia TOMORROW!!!

Wow waking up to butterflies in your stomach, Wow Fiafia is just around the corner.Im am nevous to hell because I am Really not use to talking or perfoming infront of a BIG crowd. There are many Pasifika Cultures, I am in the Tongan GIrls Cheehoo. One of my favourite things is watching other Cultures perfoming. I am very excited but very nervous to perfom in big crowds. My teachers for Fiafia is Mrs Moala,Mrs Belt and my tutor is Maryanne, Fiafia practices are were hard for me but then I just went with the flow. When we stand on stage the persion is ment to look like a V, there are two girls Ana and Eva. I will be standing in the middle just before the steps to the top And this will be my last Fiafia.I feel excited but nervous. I hope you enjoy my writing.

Fiafia 2016

This terrm we have an up coming event,that event is Fiafia.Fiafia is a Pacific dancing show here on our school field. This event is one of my favourite events I am so excited. It will happen on the 7th of april.Please come along and have fun.

A Tribute to Priscilla Tui.

Today in Assembly we had a family service for our Prisclilla.Priscilla is a mother of  RaewenEve,Rowana,Kruz, Oalii,and Ofili also a wife of Mose. We care about Priscilla and we love her she was like a mother,aunty and a surportive person. On Monday moring she sadly passed away from brest cancer, all these years she has been fighting cancer. There was a video of her and her husdand dacing in our school prosution, I wanted to cry but I was sbeing strong, because she doesent want us to cry. Priscilla had alot of whanau that came and surported her. I remember she was my tutor and she was amazing,she showed her love to us and cared about her children. Pricilla filled up a gap as a coach,rugby manger and a tutor. Priscilla I want you to know we will love you and you will always be in our herats.
